The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation using less rockets during Ukraine's shelling: analysts named the reasons

To spread: Russia produces about 150 long -range missiles of different types on a monthly basis, but the latest massive blows in Ukraine have shown that it uses them in smaller volumes than it produces. About it writes the military portal Defense Express. Analysts believe that one of the reasons is a limited number of missile carriers. In particular, Russia saves Tu-95MC resource, producing 1-3 rockets instead of 6-8.

After blows to the Engels Air Base, some of the rocket carriers were also taken to remote bases, which complicated logistics. There should be about 40-50 Tu-95MC bombers on paper in Russia, but not all of them are reality. A similar situation is observed from Tu-160: from 13-18 units (depending on the source) six are on repair and modernization. Thus, from a third to half of all TU-160 are under repair or upgrading, and some are probably faulty or not suitable for flights.

If a similar situation is observed with TU-95MC, then in reality for combat missions, Russia may have not 40 or even 20 aircraft at disposal. It is also noted that the transfer of marine carriers "Caliber" from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk has complicated their maintenance and loading due to the underdeveloped infrastructure on a new base.

Recall that on the night of May 25, the Russians released 9 ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23", 55 winged rockets X-101 and "caliber" from aircraft and ships, one X-22 and four controlled missiles X-59/69. And on the night of May 26, the Russian Federation again attacked Ukraine. This time, winged X-101 rockets were launched with Tu-95MC-9 rockets.
