During the war for Ukraine, every victory is important, one of which was won by our chess players in India

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomes the participants of the women's national team of Ukraine who won the gold medals at the World Chess Olympiad, which took place from July 27 to August 10, 2022 in the city of Chennai (Republic of India). 160 women's teams with 800 participants took part in the competition. Anna Muzychuk, Maria Muzychuk, Anna Ushenina, Natalia Buksa and Yulia Osmak, represented the Ukrainian women's team, which was presented by Anna Muzychuk, Maria Muzychuk, Anna Ushenina.

This is the second victory of Ukrainian women at the World Chess Olympiad. For the first time, Ukrainian chess players won in 2006. Our chess players demonstrated skill and high level of game. Today, in difficult times, when Russia has unleashed a full -scale war against Ukraine, the purpose of which is to destroy the Ukrainian people, every victory is extremely important to us, not only on the battlefield, but also at the sports grounds. One of these victories was won by our chess players.

Together we have to put the enemy unconditional mat. Without any gambges - not sacrificing anything in exchange for something - we will return every cell of our land. Because despite any debut, blockade and pathetic threats to destroy us in two moves, all enemies of Ukraine sooner or later fall into Tsugzwang-a helpless position when any of their course leads to a loss.
