Russia avoids any negotiations on the end of the war in Ukraine-Vance (video)

To spread: in the United States stated that the Russian Federation refuses any formats of dialogue aimed at the end of the war in Ukraine. According to US Vice President Jay Vens, a peaceful settlement is possible only when both parties participate in the process, but Moscow has been demonstrating complete reluctance to negotiate.

According to the official page on the social network X White House, an American official in a comment to Fox News stressed that in recent weeks the Russian side has been ignoring proposals for meetings both in bilateral format with Kiev and a wider circle with US participation. According to him, a similar position of the Kremlin testifies to the unwillingness to recognize the reality of war, which causes significant losses to the Russian army.

"We are ready to work for the sake of peace, but without the other party's consent it is impossible. The Russians have to wake up and understand the real state of things," he emphasized. The US Vice president drew attention to the fact that the situation on the front does not bring strategic advantages to Moscow, but at the same time it costs a large number of its military daily. He noted that Russian troops carry "excessive and unnecessary losses" without achieving significant results.

"A lot of people die. There is nothing to be proud of the Kremlin. How many more Russians are they ready to be sent to death for the sake of minimal, if at all, the benefits on the battlefield?" - asked the rhetorical question Vance. The American politician stressed that Washington's position remains unchanged: the United States is ready to make efforts to achieve peace and support initiatives aimed at diplomatic settlement.

At the same time, without the readiness of Russia to participate in the negotiations, any attempts will remain unsuccessful. "We will continue to work for the sake of establishing peace and we hope that in the end Russia recognizes reality on Earth," Vance summed up. It should be reminded that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stressed that the war in Ukraine will most likely end through negotiations, but President Zelensky must be sure of his country's safety after any arrangements.
