The spokesman of the Operations Command "North" of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadim Misk in a comment "Radio Liberty" told what it could threaten. According to him, Ukrainian defenders seal the fortifications of the first and second lines of defense so that Russian sabotage and intelligence groups (DRGs) should not have the chances of entering the region.
"Defense forces in Sumy region carry out combat missions for maintaining the state border and preventing the Russian DRG and the military by the Russian Federation. Currently, the defense forces in the region are sealing the fortification of the first, second and third lines," said Vadim Misnyk. Currently, the task of the Ukrainian military in this direction is to consider every scenario of events that can threaten the Sumy region.
