According to the UK Ministry of Defense, the strong wear of Russian major combat tanks in Ukraine is most likely due to the fact that Russia has not been able to establish and properly use adequate dynamic protection. The construction of the British department on Twitter states that when used properly, dynamic protection reduces the efficiency of approaching shells before they hit the tank.

Video of the day "It says that the Russian forces did not correct the culture of inefficient use of ERA, which reaches the first Chechen war of 1994," - the message reads. It is likely that many Russian tankers lacks preparation to support dynamic protection, which leads to either poor adjustment of explosive elements or to its complete absence, added to the Ministry of Defense of Britain.
