"Look at the Crystal Ball": Pistorius urged NATO to prepare for the worst scenario of war with the Russian Federation

Military intelligence and governments in many Western countries are developing hypothetical variants of the Russian attack on NATO. The German Minister of Defense believes that the invasion of the Russian Federation will take place in five or eight years. German Minister Boris Pistorius called on Europe and NATO prepared for the "worst scenario" of a possible war with Russia. This was reported by Bloomberg.

The German minister warned of the consequences of Ukraine's defeat not only for Europe but also for the United States. A full -scale invasion of Ukraine threatens international order as a whole, he added. "Less security in Europe means less security for the United States. We should not take freedom as something of course. We need to protect it as needed," Pistorius stressed. Pistorius explained that he did not know for sure whether Russia would attack Europe.

"I do not like to look in the crystal ball. I can't predict when an attack on NATO territory. It may happen in five to eight years," he summed up. Recall that British military intelligence has recently warned of a rather likely risk of a large -scale Russian military conflict with NATO. The defensive sector of the Russian Federation has evolved over the last year with unexpected speeds. Ukraine in 2024 should not wait for an invitation to enter NATO.
