The commander launched a military career in 1991. He stayed in this position for less than a year, returning to the brigade of the 30th Armed Forces, which was based near his hometown of Novograd-Volynsky. Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation, Pavlyuk has been the commander of the 24th OMBR, who participated in the battles on the liberation of Slavyansk, estuary, Kramatorsk and Lisichansk. From March 15, 2022, Pavlyuk was entrusted with the organization of defense and providing Kyiv as the head of the Kyiv Regional Administration.
