The commander launched a military career in 1991. After a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he led the defense of Mariupol, and in 2022 received the title of Hero of Ukraine for personal courage and heroism. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed the commander of the Land Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, who was previously an employee of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, but the day before he was released from the department.

The relevant decree of Zelensky was published on the website of the Presidential Office on February 11. To this post, the commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces was occupied by General Alexander Sirsky, who became the new commander -in -chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on February 8, 2024. According to open springs, Alexander Pavlyuk was born on August 20, 1970 in the city of Novograd-Volynsky, Zhytomyr region.

He stayed in this position for less than a year, returning to the brigade of the 30th Armed Forces, which was based near his hometown of Novograd-Volynsky. Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation, Pavlyuk has been the commander of the 24th OMBR, who participated in the battles on the liberation of Slavyansk, estuary, Kramatorsk and Lisichansk. In March 2015, Alexander Pavlyuk entered the National University of Defense of Ukraine. I.

After the start of the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Pavlyuk managed the defense of Mariupol, and on March 4, 2022 he won the title of Hero of Ukraine "for personal courage and heroism, a significant contribution to the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine". From March 15, 2022, Pavlyuk was entrusted with the organization of defense and providing Kyiv as the head of the Kyiv Regional Administration.
