Iran could provide the Russian Federation with rocket engines production for X-101 and Caliber

Such cooperation in the production of ballistic missiles may seem absurd. However, as Ukrainian observers noted, Moscow may require such "experience of experience" against the backdrop of the ongoing war. Iran has not only handed over the FATH-360 ballistic and tactical ballistic missiles, which was already confirmed by US officials, but also the technologies of production of missile engines.

At first glance, this may seem absurd, since the Russian Federation has their own technologies, but the Russians may have a "narrow place" here. Moscow and Tehran's possible military cooperation in the field of missile production is referred to in Defense Express dated September 11. Viewers write that, according to the US Department of Finance, the Iranian design bureau of the Farzanegan Propulsion Systems was under sanctions for supplying Russia's supply of rockets.

Although this may seem unexpected, cooperation in this area notes the problems faced by the Russian defense industry. In particular, it is a "narrow place" in the production of engines for long-range cruise missiles, such as X-101 and Caliber. It is noted that the production of these missiles depends directly on TRDD-50 engines developed by the Russian enterprise "ODK-Saturn". The modifications of these engines are used in air base missiles (TRDD-50A) and in marine caliber (TRDD-50B).

However, their production volumes remain unknown, which complicates the assessment of Russia's ability to increase the production of winged missiles massively. Experts also noted that these engines are disposable and intended for one flight, which makes them scarce in the conditions of protracted conflict.

It was likely that the observers continued that Russia has turned to Iran for the "exchange of experience" to reduce and accelerate the production of such engines, which led to such close interaction, which became the subject of attention of US special services. As a result, this cooperation can significantly increase Russia's missile potential, which is a significant threat to Ukraine and other countries.

"How much this cooperation can now increase the capabilities of Russian MIC for the production of long -range cruise missiles - the question is open. But we can record that the very fact of transferring relevant technological decisions from Iran to Russia is equally dangerous in terms of strengthening shelling of Ukraine than" transfer " the same FATH-360, "-summed up in Defense Express.
