Ukraine lacks air defense systems: which regions will suffer in the case of a new massive attack of the Russian Federation

General Staff ex -Staff Vladislav Seleznev emphasizes that in our country a critical shortage of missiles, but also of starting installations that should protect cities. The enemy is currently exploring to identify the least protected objects. Given the lack of missiles for air defense systems in Ukraine, which has already been stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian invaders will look for targets in regions where strikes will lead to the greatest destruction.

Military experts Vladislav Seleznev and Alexander Kovalenko told this in an interview with TSN. "Obviously, we have limited rocket reserves, otherwise we would not see such consequences in Chernihiv and Trypillian TPP. However, we have a critical shortage of missiles but also launchers that have to protect our country. This is our reality, and It is due to the fact that our Western partners are in no hurry to transfer the missile complexes they have, "Seleznyov said.

At the same time he added that there is some number of missiles in Ukraine. Seleznyov also recalled the widespread opinion that Kyiv is securely protected from Russian attacks. Talking about the likelihood of a new, more massive rocket attack, the expert noted that during a massive shelling, the occupiers choose several key objects. Massively launching drones and rockets they want to press our air defense system.

Expert Oleksandr Kovalenko is convinced that now the Russians have no potential to carry out a massive shelling, which would be different from the previous ones. "They cannot now implement a more massive rocket attack than the one that was, for example, on December 28, 2023," Kovalenko says.

He added that although systemic missile strokes were observed in the second half of March, the Russians will not do anything more against the background of the lack of the corresponding rocket component X-101/555. However, they will study where we have weaknesses where we can answer and where they do not. In general, Kovalenko believes that right now all the efforts of the Russians are aimed at conducting intelligence.

"That is why they can be argued that they will not just use a quantitative factor for blows, but will focus on quality, choosing those locations where these blows will be most successful for them. As you know, they are now trying not to beat Kiev because they understand - because they understand - There is a high level of efficiency.
