War in Ukraine: Belgium will hand over a package of military assistance for 32 million euros

According to the Ministry of Defense of the country, the package in particular will include ammunition 105 mm. "Ammunition will be purchased in the Belgian industry and delivered as soon as possible," - reports the newspaper with reference to the statement of the Belgium Ministry of Defense.

In general, the department noted that thanks to additional support, the Belgium Ministry of Defense has today provided military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of more than 306 million euros, including 41 million euros was spent on the purchase of fuel. Last April, Belgium stated that it would continue to supply military equipment to the Ukrainian army, it was about automatic machines, anti -tank weapons, as well as fuel and protection.

At the beginning of March 2023, Belgium announced the transfer of military trucks to Ukraine by Volvo Cargo, Volvo Shelter, Volvo Fassi and Volvo Manumat. They have been in operation since the early 1990s. The Belgians checked them and assured that 240 units were suitable for operation. The country also announced the transfer of spare parts for them. In mid-May, Belgium expressed a desire to teach Ukrainian pilots to fly on F-16 fighters.
