At 15:00 the forces of the Russian Federation knocked down the drone. It happened near the village of Karabanova, which is located 11 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. At the same time, Lelek-100 reconnaissance was beaten near the village of Volokonivka (located about 27 kilometers from the border with Ukraine). It is an unmanned aviation complex that Ukrainian military has been using since 2015 to reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire.
The drone is produced by the company "Aviation Systems of Ukraine". The Stork-100 drone is used for exploration, detection and support of goals, indication of real-time coordinates and fire adjustment. Equipped with cameras that allow UAV to work both at night and day. The resulting image "Stork" transfers to a monitor installed in a car, inside which operators and control the aircraft.
Recall that at the end of May 2023, aero-intelligence officers showed how the drone "Lelek-100" works in positions under Bakhmut. Operators showed how they find Russian equipment and evade missiles by managing Ukrainian production drone. And in July 2022, the Ukrainian drone "Valkyria" helped the Armed Forces to destroy the composition of ammunition of the Russian Federation.
