President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a special meeting of the European Council, to which he joined the video communication on Thursday, April 18.

The head of state does not exclude that the target for Russians can be the infrastructure of nuclear power plants. "Under the stroke of terrorists-dams and equipment of hydroelectric power plants, as well as gas infrastructure. We also see that Russia does not refuse radiation blackmail and, in particular, continues to play with the safety of Zaporizhzhya nuclear station. Terror is also the infrastructure of our other nuclear power plants and distribution networks, ”Zelensky stressed.

The President is convinced that the Russian terror will only be able to stop the air defense. These are specific systems: Patriot, Iris-T, SAMP/T, NASAMS. Turning to European leaders, Zelensky stressed that these systems are at their disposal. "They are needed in Ukraine right now. They are needed for Putin to be deprived of the habit of relying on terrorist methods, and this is, in particular, your security need," he said.

In addition, Zelensky drew attention to the fact that there was no such level of protection in the sky in Ukraine, which recently saw the whole world in the Middle East - when, thanks to the united power of the Allies, almost all the missiles and drones that was attacked by Israel. "We only convince that we need to protect Europe from ballistics and" Shahaneda ", from winged missiles and bombs, as happened in the sky of Israel and other countries in the region.
