Sanction Failure: ISW analysts told how the Russian Federation gets high -tech spare parts for UAV

According to experts, Russia can use links with one of Central Asia to receive drones or buy ready -made UAVs for war with Ukraine. Russia and Iran are going to build a Dronov-Kamikadze drone plant in the Russian Federation. High -tech spare parts will help them to get Tajikistan, as analysts of the American Institute for War Study (ISW). The new report states that Iran has already opened one drone production plant in Tajikistan.

Russia can use its significant economic relations with this country through the CCI and the Eurasian Economic Union to launder UAV components or the purchase of drones already produced for use in Ukraine to bypass international sanctions. Analysts also stated that Iranian SHahd drones used in Ukraine used by the Russian army had circuits, semiconductors and other components produced in the United States.

Because of this, Kamikadze drones have advanced technological capabilities when compared to other types of weapons observed in the Middle East earlier. According to experts, most of the western parts found in whipped Iranian drones were produced from 2020 to 2021. Then the UN Security Council's sanctions against Iran on heavy weapons expired.

Analysts, referring to a Swiss manufacturer, stated that it is impossible to be quite confident in the fact that distributors of weapons components do not sell products to sub -organizations. This means that Russia, Iran, or other sanctions that can be used by loopholes and trusted legal entities to acquire weapons components bypassing restrictions.
