The first decree concerns 14 people who publicly justify Russia's armed aggression, deny the occupation of Ukrainian territories and are financed from the profits of the coal industry in the temporarily occupied Donbas. According to the document, restrictive measures are applied to them, including: blocking of assets, prohibition of trade operations, cessation of transit of resources, limitation of participation in the privatization of state property, as well as a ban on entry to Ukraine.
It also provides for the deprivation of state awards, the suspension of licenses and permits, and in some cases, the cancellation of visits and negotiations on concluding agreements. The second decree concerns the introduction of sanctions against 10 individuals and 31 legal entities — producers and suppliers of the Russian military-industrial complex.
Among those subject to sanctions are companies from Russia, China and Iran, as well as their owners and managers, who participated in schemes to supply Russia with equipment and components for the production of weapons. Separately, sanctions have been imposed on Iranian state bodies and legal entities involved in the transfer of military products to Russia, including unmanned aerial vehicles.
"Ukraine continues systematic work to block any sources that support Russian aggression, both informational and industrial," the President's Office emphasized. We will remind, in previous decisions of the National Security Council, sanctions were applied to Russian media, political figures and enterprises that contributed to the waging of war against Ukraine. The new restrictions are aimed at further strengthening economic and political pressure on the aggressor country.
