Mikhail Podolyak named three thorough reasons why any negotiations of Ukraine with Putin will be empty at this stage. Among them is the impossibility of fair reparations. According to him, this requires a certain international mechanism. The negotiations of Ukraine with Russia, namely Vladimir Putin, do not make sense and will not lead to a fair strong peace. This opinion was expressed by the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak.

In his Telegram, he outlined three key reasons for the impossibility of dialogue with Moscow at this stage. The first reason he called the inability to trust the Russians. Podolyak noted that in 1928, at the initiative of the Kremlin, the Litvinov Pact was signed about the rejection of war as a tool of public policy. But since then, Russia has repeatedly violated international agreements, including the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and the 2003 Ukrainian-Russian border.

"The basis of neglect of peace is the multi -hundred -year ambitions to expand the empire, which the Russian leadership has never refused . . . " - said Podolyak. The second reason, the Jermak's adviser considers the impossibility of fair reparations. According to Podolyak, Ukraine's total losses from Russian aggression are estimated from $ 700 billion to $ 1 trillion.

He believes that Russia will not be able to pay such compensation at the same time, and requires an international mechanism similar to that created for Iraq after Kuwait's occupation. "But the construction of such a mechanism is possible only if the government's assistance was assisted by the state that made the aggression. In Iraq it was necessary to deprive the position, to arrest and execute Saddam Hussein. The conclusion is clear about Putin personally," he said.

The third reason is the impossibility of punishing military criminals. Podolyak stressed that Putin is the main military criminal and has no immunity under the charter of the International Criminal Court from prosecution for war crimes, humanity crimes and genocide. He predicts that Putin will release any attempt in the investigation and will not give any of his subordinates. "All wars end over time, negotiations begin, peaceful treaties are signed. There is only one person interfering with this . . .

According to Podolyak, the war can end only when the issue with Putin is resolved, since it is the main obstacle to peace talks and just peace.
