Record Recharging: NASAMS AFS of the Armed Forces knocked 11 Russian missiles in two minutes (video)

To spread: On April 27, the Air Force of Ukraine reflected the Russian attack, destroying the NASAMS system of the third modification of 11 winged missiles. The whole battle lasted less than two minutes, during which Ukrainian operators manually tracked, identified and struck all goals, confirming their effectiveness in high -intensity attacks. This is stated in a report published by Ukraine's air forces.

According to the Hero of Ukraine, the commander of the unit Kirill Peretyatko, the involved battery includes a team center, a radar MPQ-64 and starting installations, each of which carries six AIM-120 AMraam missiles. He noted that the system works mostly in manual mode - this allows operators to make decisions more precisely than automation. During operation, the unit destroyed more than 150 goals, including not only cruise missiles, but also with other types of air threats.

"We have shot down 11 winged rockets for one airway. The combat work lasted no more than two minutes. Russian propagandists are constantly blaming our air defense, but this is all complete lies, AIM-120 Amraam missile, if not hit, it is eliminated in the air. Although the AIM-120 are not intended to intercept ballistic missiles, they are effectively coping with aerodynamic purposes-winged missiles, aircraft, helicopters and UAVs. "During combat work we had to reload missiles.

We probably broke all the records of other countries at the speed of recharging," the commander added. At the end of February this year, the Norwegian military reported that since November 2022 the NASAMS systems, which are in service with the Armed Forces, destroyed about 900 air purposes. In the asset of Ukrainian SPR operators-the interception of up to 94 % of enemy objects, of which almost 60 % made up winged missiles X-101, X-555, "Caliber", X-59, etc.

The Colonel of the Air Force of Norway Per Steinar Treit noted the high combat readiness of Ukrainian calculations, who were trained under the guidance of Norwegian instructors and immediately began the performance of combat missions. NASAMS anti -aircraft complexes are actively used to protect critically important facilities - infrastructure, government agencies, medical institutions and airfields.
