According to journalists, in the morning of October 17, soldiers, from the military unit 62295, moved in Kamaz in Glushkiv district of Kursk region. On the way there was an accident - a truck driver, a stunter named Gusev, could not cope with the control, resulting in the car spread into the ditch. A passenger, a permanent name of Osonin, and a driver, died at the scene. The third serviceman, named Bersenyev, was injured and was taken to the hospital.
In the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Kursk region confirmed the fact of a deadly accident with the participation of stitches. "Firefighters of Glushkiv district, employees of DIBDR, ambulance workers were sent to the scene. The information is specified," - the message reads. Military unit 62295, which served as the dead term, is the 217th Guards Parachut and December Ivanovsky Order of the Kutuzov Regiment.
The regiment is part of the 98th Guards Airborne Division and is located in the city of Ivanovo, Ivanovo region. The regiment has a "rich history": in Soviet times it was based in the Ukrainian SSR, in the city of Bolgrad (Odesa region). After the collapse of the USSR, the regiment was relocated to the city of Ivanovo. In 2022, the regiment units participated in a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.
