Eight months after death: in Kharkiv, they said goodbye to the Killed Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by the writer Vakulenko

The farewell ceremony was attended by the deceased parents and his 14-year-old son. Volodymyr Vakulenko dedicated a boy who lives from races, a book and practically did not part with him for his lifetime. On Tuesday, December 6, the Holy Dmitry Church of Kharkiv said goodbye to children's writer Vladimir Vakulenko, who was killed by Russian military during the occupation of Kharkiv region during the occupation of Kharkiv region. About it reports "Public".

Due to the fact that the murdered writer was buried in a nameless joint grave, where the body was lying for months, Vladimir Vakulenko was buried in a closed coffin. A large bouquet of white chrysanthemums and a product in the form of a blue-yellow heart were put on the lid of the lacquered coffin. The coffin itself was covered by the flag of Ukraine. At the farewell ceremony, the photographer shot Vladimir and his 14-year-old son Vitaliy.

The teenager was practically inseparable with his father (the boy had an autistic spectrum disorder, he needs additional care of loved ones). After the singing of Vakulenko, they were buried in Kharkiv City Cemetery №2. The name of Vladimir Vakulenko, whom the Russian military was abducted and shot from the Makarov gun in Izium (Kharkiv region), plan to name the street.

Izium Deputy Mayor Volodymyr Matsykin said that the issue of renaming the street in honor of Vakulenko is planned to be resolved within a month. In early December, Paramedic Yulia Payevskaya (Tyra), which won the Stanislav Vincent Prize "for humanistic service and contribution to the development of the regions" within the annual International Forum "Via Carpatia" in Lviv, dedicated it to a killed writer. "Recently in Izium found the body of Vladimir Vakulenko, killed by the occupiers.

This is a children's writer . . . I do not think I am worthy of this award. But I accept it as a great honor and dedicate it to Vladimir Vakulenko and all figures of culture who were tortured and killed Moscow invaders, " - said Paevskaya. In addition, the "Old Lion Publishing House" decided to reprint the book of the writer entitled "Daddy Book". The profit from the sale of the book will be handed over to the family of Vladimir Vakulenko: parents and his minor son Vitaliy.

At one time, the writer said that he wrote a book for his son. And the Kharkiv Literary Museum announced to digitize Vladimir's diary. The writer led him during the Russian occupation of the village of Kapitolivka, in which he lived with his son. On March 23, Vakulenko buried a workbook with diary records under Cherry. He only pointed the place to his father. Half a year later, a notebook, hidden in a plastic bag, was dug.

His parents and writer Victoria Amelina were given the diary records to the museum. Focus has previously wrote that there were evidence of the murder of a children's writer Vladimir Vakulenko by Russian invaders. The parents of the husband for about half a year hoped to find a son who was abducted by the invaders alive. But the results of DNA examination confirmed his death. In addition, the police reported new details of the death of a children's writer.
