In addition to living force, according to the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Sergiy Deynek, 50 Russian aircraft and helicopters are now based in Belarus. As of Monday, January 16, 11,000 Russian soldiers are stationed in the territory of neighboring Belarus. This was emphasized by the Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Sergey Deyneko on the air of the national telephone.

"Today, the number of troops of the Russian Federation in the territory of the RB is about 11 thousand soldiers," Deineko said. According to him, the number of Russian soldiers in Belarus is constantly changing due to rotation. In particular, at the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division (these military returns in the Voronezh and Belgorod regions of Russia), the 6th Motorized Rifle Division of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will arrive in Belarus.

The head of the SSSU also added that Ukrainian border guards have not yet recorded an increase in the number of Russian invaders directly near the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. "We are constantly tracking the whole situation, especially related to the increase in the aviation component," Daineko assured Ukrainians. Thus, according to him, on January 15, eight aircraft were moved from airfields in Voronezh and Kursk.

In total, there are now about 50 units of Russian aircraft and helicopters in the country.
