"War of Drones" in full swing: what Americans invented against China and

Representatives of 25 defense companies have visited Taiwan and can soon establish a supply chain for UAV production, analysts say. The US and Taiwan combine efforts to jointly create drones that will be very similar to the production of iPhone smartphones. The military analyst and director of Add Engineering Components Grish Linganna explained what and what in the article for Frontier India.

During the war in Ukraine, unmanned aircraft proved efficiency in the battlefield and interested in many countries. In April, Taiwan was visited by a delegation of 25 defense contractors, who plan to establish a chain of supply of drones in cooperation with Taiwan colleagues. According to analysts, after the end of the visit, the US and Taiwan will start working closely in this area.

Already, Taiwan is massively producing small and medium-sized commercial drones, developing large military drones that will be able to launch Sky Sword I Air-Air Sword missiles. The UAV industry of this country needs further development, as it has a very advanced production of semiconductors, accurate processing of metals and advanced information security systems. Taiwanese enterprises sell their processors, infrared sensors and other accessories.

"The principle of creating drones and missiles is similar to the one used to the iPhone: the US is responsible for design and development, and production is delegated to other regions," Grish Lyganna said. In his opinion, Taiwan can become a strategically important ally for the United States due to its foundry and conflict with China.

Technological advantages of Americans, combined with Taiwan's production capabilities, can strengthen the Taiwan defense potential and will allow businesses to integrate into the US military industry. Some Taiwanese metalworking plants are already supplying details for US F35 fighter jets, and other composite materials factories help produce bulletproof seats for American Apache helicopters.

Taiwanese panels and laptops are also used in F22 and F35 fighters, Hummer cars and artillery rocket vehicles. This means that the US and Taiwan work together on various military and industrial projects. In the end, partner countries threaten to deprive the PRC in exporting drones. The Trendforce research company estimated that the global UAV market will increase by 27. 6% a year, increasing from $ 16. 5 billion to $ 34. 3 billion in 2025.

At the same time, Chinese drones are much cheaper and faster to capture the market. By flight characteristics, they are approximately equal models with the United States, but are significantly inferior to the quality of flight management systems, detection of objects, onboard computers, protection against HR. In March, Taiwan presented new military models of UAV against the background of the threat of China's invasion.
