The Verkhovna Rada failed voting for the law on "military PIT": sent for revision

According to the People's Deputy Goncharenko, there were no 3 votes for the adoption of the law. The bill stipulates that the PITs from the salaries of the military should not come to local budgets, but on the needs of the state. Bill No. 10037 on the redistribution of personal income tax (PIT) from the salaries of servicemen from local budgets to the state budget was not approved by the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading.

Alexei Goncharenko, the MP from the European Solidarity faction, informed about it. 3 votes were not enough to approve the document: "223 deputies voted for 226. The factions cast their votes as follows: as Goncharenko said, the bill was sent for revision, and 265 deputies voted on this initiative. The time of preparation for re -reading was also reduced. The bill introduced in the Verkhovna Rada provides a change in the direction of receipt of PIT from the wages of the military.

According to the bill, since October 1, 2023, the PITs from the military should not come to local budgets, as it was before, but in the other two directions: it is assumed that these changes will increase the efficiency of use of funds received from the PIT from the military. We will remind, on September 20 the people's deputies supported as a basis the bill on the withdrawal of PIT from payments to the military in favor of the state budget.
