The "genius and skillfully made" missile has a payload weighing more than a ton and a flight range of 3,000 kilometers. Its name - "Flamingo" - is due to the fact that due to an error during the painting of the first sample, the warhead turned out pink. According to the manufacturer, it is twice as powerful as the Tomahawk missile, which US President Donald Trump refused to provide to Ukraine.

The ex-director of the CIA, General David Petraeus, is of "typical Ukrainian ingenuity" and considers the new missile a real "breakthrough". The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, presented it as the "most powerful" ever built in Ukraine. "Until last summer, almost no one in Ukraine had heard of Fire Point.

It is reported that Ukraine is already starting mass production of the cruise missile, presented only in August of this year. It is expected that by the end of 2025, they will produce seven such units per day. The newspaper noted that the mass production of the Flamingo should allow the Defense Forces to reach the deep rear of the Russian Federation — its western part of the aggressor country, all the way to the Urals, where the enemy's oil refineries are concentrated.

It will be recalled that aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap informed Focus that the Flamingo rocket is the result of cooperation between two companies - Ukrainian Fire Point and the international Milanion Group, registered in the UAE. both companies have Ukrainian roots and, most likely, the latter was responsible for the development.
