Occupied India and Algeria: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was sent to advanced export tanks T-90C (photo)

The export version of the T-90 differs from the basic modification by improved characteristics in terms of firing power, armor and mobility. At the same time, the technique has changed taking into account the experience of hostilities in Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed rare frames in the Donetsk direction with T-90C tanks, which are intended for export to countries such as India, Algeria and Vietnam.

As noted on February 11, Defense Blog, Russian tanks in the export of "Indian" configuration appeared on the front line because of a sharp shortage of combat vehicles in the front parts. In the published staff, all the inscriptions on the tank management panel were made in English, as the machines were originally made for export customers.

"Russia, which has encountered the problem of depletion of armored vehicles after two years of significant losses in Ukraine, has decided to re-profile the T-90C tanks, which were intended for export from the outset," the material reads. The export version of the Russian main combat tank (VTT) T-90C differs from the basic modification by improved fire, mobility and protection intended for the export market.

According to representatives of "Roboronexport", the technique has changed taking into account the lessons of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The T-90C has a powerful armor, including the dynamic protection of "contact-1" and metal screens against Kamikadze drone. The machine is equipped with a 125-mm smooth-bore gun 2A46M, which is able to fire various types of shells, including anti-tank and sub-caliber shells.

The T-90C is also equipped with a modern fire control system, including thermal imaging, laser rangefinder and automatic shooting control. India is known to be one of the largest T-90 tanks, and the country's army actively uses T-90 tanks in its armed forces. Russia has put India a considerable amount of T-90C, as well as a license to produce them in the country, with the Indian version of this tank known as "Bhishma". Algeria is also one of the buyers of the T-90C tanks.

In 2014, a contract was made between Russia and Algeria for the supply of these machines. This agreement provided for the supply of a large number of tanks for the Algerian Armed Forces, but the details of the agreement in the public space were not disclosed. Earlier, Defense Blog journalists evaluated personnel on which the Russian T-90m Breakthrough was a direct hit by a shotmilling ammunition.
