Recently, a group of investigation of anti -Russian actions (hail) was created in the Russian Federation, consisting of deputies of State Duma and cultural figures engaged in the preparation of black lists of foreign agents. They include representatives of culture who speak against the war in Ukraine or even just silent on this topic. Video day is still limited to the call for the release of the persons involved in such lists from government agencies.
However, in the fall there are planned to expand the sanction opportunities, developing appropriate amendments to the legislation of the Russian Federation. At the beginning of August, the hail held its first meeting, in which it published the first names of "utilities and traitors". Among others, TV presenter Ivan Urgant, Music band B-2 and even the director of the first channel Konstantin Ernst.
The first immediately responded to the accusation, proposing to rename the hail to a "group of abuse of our public. " And some Russian liberals responded to the emergence of such a group with the forecasts of "strengthening the split of elites" and a new wave of emigration from Russia, writes the Russian service of the American media company Radio Svoboda. "There will be a second big wave of departures," quotes Alexander Morozov, a Russian journalist and political scientist in emigration.
