According to Army Recognition Operators, the creation of a ship is conditioned by Russia's desire to increase the defense capability at sea in the face of increasing threat from the submarines of the US Navy Virginia. The main task of the new IPC is to ensure the safety of the movement of Russian submarines of strategic purpose (PCAB) from naval bases to patrol areas. Experts say that the support of the PCAB is the most important component of Russia's nuclear shield.

However, the Virginia Navy submarines are a significant threat to the US Navy, which are capable of silently pursuing Russian Pcharb and, if necessary, make torpedoes or installing mines in critical zones. In addition, the aging of the navy of Russian small protical ships of Russia, especially the projects of 1124 and 1331m, necessitates the renewal and strengthening of defense potential.

At the same time, the process of building new corvettes is slow, and the sanctions of the West complicate the already difficult situation. In response to these challenges, a project of 28000 was presented at the forum. This ship combines proven technologies and fast assembly on several ships, which is especially important in a long -term conflict in Ukraine.

This ship is distinguished by a number of structural changes, such as the installation of a water lattice and improved power plant, and is intended for efficient execution of tasks in prototic defense (PCO). Also, changes in modular useful load were made, which allows the use of unmanned submarine devices for minefront. The modified power plant includes four water meters, which provides new movement dynamics.

And the maximum speed is reduced from 32 to 26 nodes to increase stability and maneuverability. Also, the ship is equipped with an antitrued "Pack-NK" is a small-sized protracid complex designed to damage submarines in the nearby ship, as well as to destroy torpedo attacking the ship.
