"We all know how serious the current challenges are, because the war, unfortunately, is ongoing and we do not see signs that it will end soon," the president said. She emphasized that Moldova would continue to support Ukraine and called Russia "a source of instability. " The politician reminded that this year the Russians tried to destabilize the situation in the country and even tried to overthrow the constitutional power. At the same time, Romania considers the leader an important "defender".
"Our active, balanced and consistent foreign policy has allowed us to maintain peace and stability in the country, despite the war, to overcome heavy winter, to support the economy, to continue important reforms that are vital for promoting on our European path," Sandu added. We will remind, on August 7, the Ministry of Defense of Romania informed about the provision of military assistance to Moldova.
