Only the strong position of Ukraine can force the Russian dictator to abandon his own intention

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz. The Head of State thanked Olaf Scholz for the defense support of Ukraine, the total volume of which is 12 billion euros, and especially for the leadership role in strengthening of air defense and German air defense systems, and through consolidation of partners' assistance.

The leaders discussed the continuation of defense cooperation, in particular the possibility of joint production of weapons and increasing the capabilities of Patriot and IRIS-T systems. Chancellor assured that Germany will continue to provide Ukraine with defense support and informed about his telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin.
