Implementation of new standards: in the Armed Forces will expand the basic military training of recruits

The emphasis is placed on the training of the management of unmanned systems and the use of HR. The number of shooting exercises will also increase from 23 to 45, and the consumption of cartridges increased from 500 to 866 units. From November 1, 2024, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an updated program of basic military training (GVVP) in all Land Forces training centers.

The duration of the course is increased from 30 to 45 days, which makes it possible to acquire military skills more deeply. This was reported by the commander of the preparation of the Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Palagnyuk in an interview with Militar. One of the key innovations of the program has been training in the management of unmanned systems and the use of radio electronic fighting.

The fighters will also learn the methods of counteracting shock drone, including using masking and guns for self -defense. This innovation is especially relevant in modern conditions, where drone technologies play an important role in hostilities. In addition, the program includes increased fire training: the number of shooting exercises is increased from 23 to 45, and the consumption of cartridges increased from 500 to 866 units.

AKM machines are used for shooting, after which, in the units, the fighters adapt to personal weapons such as AR-15 and Bren 2. Important to prepare ammunition - from about 500 to 866 rounds, " - the message reads. At the same time, AKM machines are used for firing, after which, in the units, the fighters adapt to personal weapons, such as AR-15 and Bren 2.

Also, for the first time in the framework of basic preparation of recruits, the use of collective weapons-machine guns and hand grenade launchers will be taught. And reducing training hours in the day from 10 to 8 will provide more efficient assimilation of the material and reduce the load on the fighters, making it impossible to spend time for expectation and movement. The program approved for 27 training centers has previously undergone pilot testing in several Centers of Land Forces.
