According to commander Sergei Nayev, the Armed Forces is aware that the threat can grow. To enhance the defense capability, you will need to attract an additional contingent. Repeated invasion of the occupation group through the territory of the Chernobyl zone of Belarus is not envisaged in the short term. At the same time, the danger persists. The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces Sergey Naev, who visited the Chernobyl zone, told about it.

The locals were cut off from the rest of Ukraine by the Russian invasion. To stop the promotion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation undermined the bridge - hence the difficulties of supply to the territory. Servicemen provide assistance to residents of the exclusion zone, bring in: medicines, foods and other essentials. According to Nayev, there is no threat to a new invasion of the Chernobyl zone.

"There is now insufficient number of troops of the Republic of Belarus in this direction to create a military threat, but there is a certain danger," Naev explained. He also added that the defense is aware that the threat could grow. In this case, an additional military contingent will have to be involved in order to enhance defense. It is worth saying that Belarus contributed to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
