Drones attacked two powerful refineries of the Russian Federation: what happened in Volgograd and Ufi (video)

The Russians wrote on social networks that they would now have even fewer fuel and that the Air Forces of the Armed Forces did not notice the drones, which freely reached the industrial processing around the oil refining enterprises. The first message about loud sounds in Volgograd appeared at 6:58. It is indicated that there was a fire in the territory of the NPP in the Krasnoarmeysky district. The local chats discuss the incident, confirming the explosions and the plaque of drones.

In addition, the Russians acknowledged that in the direction of the refinery they see "glow". Subsequently, the governor of the Volgograd region confirmed the attack of UAV, assured that everyone was beaten, but the debris fell in the village of Kirovoy Svetarsky district. The incident in the Ufa was told in ASTRA in a post, which was published about 10 hours on October 15. The video from the scene showed a drone, similar to the "February", which was freely flying in the right direction.

At the same time, it was not possible to hear the means of air defense: neither shooting nor explosions. The locals reported that UAVs were noticed in the area of ​​the Birsky tract, next to which there is a local powerful refinery. In the morning of October 15, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced a raid of drones.

The Russian command stated that the attack of 59 UAVs took place: 12 above the Volgograd, and the UFU is not mentioned. At the same time, the settlements, to which the means of defeat of Ukraine could be reached, are located at a distance of 600 and 1 400 km (respectively). The General Staff of the Armed Forces has not yet confirmed the attack on the refinery in the Ufa and Volgograd.

"Lukoil-Volgogradnefterabette" is one of the most powerful oil refineries of the Russian Federation, which processes 14. 8-15. 5 million tons of oil in a year. The strategic enterprise has already hit drones: for example, one of the incidents occurred in January 2025. The Upaorgsynthesis Refinery is a Russian enterprise, which is called the "flagship of the petrochemical industry".

As of 2021, a third of phenol, 15% of polyethylene and 8% of polypropylene, 47 thousand tons of acetone were produced here.
