He expects that France will become a nuclear exchange partner in nuclear exchange. At the same time, Karol Navrotsky noted that it is too early to speak of Poland's own nuclear weapons. He said in an interview with the French TV channel LCI on September 16 that the partnership of Warsaw and Paris should be a key element in this direction, reports United24Media.

"As the President of the Republic of Poland, I believe that Poland should be part of the nuclear community," said Navrotsky French journalist. In his opinion, Poland should have its own "energy, civilian and military" nuclear opportunities. Navrotsky emphasized that as the head of state considers his priority to ensure the security of Poland's security as a member of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).

In the spring of 2025, Poland and France signed the Nansi Treaty to deepen defense cooperation, which the Polish Diet ratified on September 13.
