According to the investigation, the military personnel and son were stolen in the military unit near Odessa, after which they committed a crime in Vinnytsia and fled. The next day they were detained. The fact of desertion of servicemen involved in the execution of law enforcement officers in Vinnytsia region continue to be investigated. The details about this were shared in the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR).

According to the investigation, on April 19 this year, two servicemen who are a father and son left the military unit in the Odessa region. They also managed to steal a plate gun, which was assigned to one of the persons involved. "In the future, at about 2 am on April 20, 2024 in Vinnytsia, the persons involved in law enforcement officers and fled from the scene.

Law enforcement officers detained them on April 21, 2024 in the village of Lipetsk, Podilskyi district of Odessa region,"-the message reads. The National Police are investigating under Article 348 (murder or attempted to kill a law enforcement officer). The DBR was informed by the detainee of suspicion of desertion with a weapon that was committed in martial law. "The issue of choosing a pre -trial detention is being resolved.

The procedural leadership is carried out by the Odesa Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Southern Region," - summed up in the State Bureau of Investigation. According to the press police of Orina Mayevskaya, the man was in the police car at the time of the attack and was not injured. Later, information emerged that the suspects planned to escape from Ukraine.
