Rinat Akhmetov directed UAH 11.3 billion to support the Armed Forces and Ukrainians for three years of war

Rinat Akhmetov's Front Front Project provides defenders with ammunition, transport, medical equipment, drones, communications and other necessary resources. Metinvest has developed and transmitted more than 600 steel armor, produces armor for bulletproof vests, and supplies steel for armored vehicles - Abrams, Leopard tanks, Patriot systems. The DTEK group not only supports the Armed Forces and Humanitarian Initiatives, but also actively works on the restoration of energy infrastructure.

Thanks to the advocacy campaign "Battle for Light" with the participation of Alexander Usik, international financing was involved. The European Commission and the US Government have provided DTEK 107 million euros for Ukraine's energy protection and restoration. Rinat Akhmetov continued funding for the Azovstal Heart program, increasing the budget to UAH 1. 6 billion. Defenders and their families receive help in seven directions.

In 2023, the "Home" program started, which provides the military with disabilities with their own housing. In 2025 it is planned to transfer another 50 apartments. Rinat Akhmetov's businesses continue to support the residents of the frontier and deocal areas: they provide them with products, medicines, clothing, hygiene products. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has transferred more than 700,000 medicines and 13 million grocery sets since 2014.

The Foundation also helps in rehabilitation of children and adults affected by war. Shakhtar football club finances the treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded military, supports displaced persons and Ukrainian athletes. For 2024, the club directed UAH 32. 5 million to assist the military and civilian. 22 million UAH received from a friendly match with Tottenham was also transferred to charitable projects.
