The artillerymen showed how the howitzers deploy in the fire position and its charging. According to the Militarist, for the first time the prototype of "Bogdan-BG" was publicly presented last year. However, it is known that Ukrainian manufacturers have worked on its development at least in December 2023.
In March 2025, the first public report on the transfer of this type of weapons for the defense forces appeared. It was received by the 47th Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces. Bogdan-B was created on the basis of the artillery part of the self-propelled installation "Bogdan" and the carrier of the Soviet gun "Hyacinth-B". The range of its target is up to 42 km and the speed up to 5 shots per minute. The gun weighs about 10 tons, but the tractor is more than necessary.
