Fnh introduced a modernized handmade fn Evolys: what changed in weapons

The length of the weapon depends on the caliber and configuration of the barrel: 950 mm for caliber 5. 56 mm and 1 025 mm for the caliber 7. 62 mm. When the bed is removed, the length decreases to 850 mm and 925 mm, respectively. The barrels have a length of 355 mm for a caliber 5. 56 mm and 406 mm for a caliber 7. 62 mm. FN Evolys uses gas -shaped automation with a short piston and operates in open shutter mode.

Cyclic raising is 750 shots per minute, which allows to hit the target at a maximum distance of 800 meters for a caliber 5. 56 mm and 1000 meters for a caliber 7. 62 mm. For ammunition for 100 or 200 cartridges for a model of 5. 56 mm and 50 cartridges for the model 7. 62 mm. At the end, the observers noted that FN Herstal will present the advanced FN Evolys at the EuroSATORY 2024 Exhibition, which will be held in Paris from June 17 to June 21.
