"One of the most expensive goals": the Armed Forces hit the Russian system of "Borisoglebsk-2" (video)

The Borisoglebsk-2 IE Complex costs about $ 200,000,000 and can perform up to 30 combat missions at the same time, including disrupting the troops management system. Timer servicemen of the 10th Separate Mining and Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by FPV-troops one of the cars that are part of the expensive Russian complex of radio-electronic struggle (ID) "Borisoglebs-2".

This was reported by Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Sergey Sternenko in his Telegram channel on June 11. The blogger emphasized that Borisoglebsk-2 is one of the most powerful systems of EWS in the weapons of Russian invaders. The cost of the complex is $ 200,000,000. He also posted a video on which the invaders tell about the benefits of Borisoglebsk-2.

According to them, the complex can detect and suppress the sources of electronic radiation in all frequency ranges, as well as completely disrupt the system of control of troops. The main task of the system is to identify the "most important frequencies". The following are footage, on which several Ukrainian UAV-Kamikadze UAKs strike one of the machines of the Borisoglebsk-2 HR, masked in the forest plant. In the video you can see the bright explosions that led to the fire.

According to the blogger, Ukrainian UAVs managed to impress the target in the "fairly decent" distance. "Jackpot! One of the most expensive goals is destroyed with FPV" - wrote Sergey Sternenko. The publication was shared by the military personnel of the "Timer" unit in their Telegram channel, thus confirming the words of the blogger.

"Borisoglebsk-2" is a Russian automated complex on the tracked platform of MT-LB, intended for radio electronic suppression of satellite communication and radio navigation systems. He is the heir to the Soviet complex "Mandat". The complex includes the control point R-300KMV and individual machines with radio stations: P-378BMV, P-330BMV, P-934 BMV and P-325UM, as well as diesel generators. The full set is nine cars with different set of equipment.

According to the Armed Forces serviceman and radio technology expert Sergei Flesh, no more than a hundred Borisoglebsk-2 complexes left in the Russian army, about a dozen she lost about a dozen in the war in Ukraine. Caterpillars were very vulnerable to drones, so the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are no longer used on the front line. Earlier, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, called "Borisoglebsk" one of the most dangerous complexes of the IU of Russia.
