They want to talk to the Russian Federation: the expert explained why Ukraine was not invited to the G20 summit in India

The G20 Summit in India will be the second round of peaceful initiatives on Ukraine, but this time with the participation of the Russian Federation. Previous negotiations in Jedda had many claims on the fact that the Russian side was not invited to discuss peace initiatives. Political expert Igor Popov told this in a comment to Focus. "The G20 summit can be considered as the second round of negotiations on a peaceful initiative for Ukraine.

The first was in Jeddi, the second-in New Delhi, and the finale-already in New York at the UN General Assembly. Saudi Arabia had many claims because Representatives of Russia, now it will be without the participation of Ukraine. That is, what we have - we were given the opportunity to express and convey our positions, now they will give Russia.

According to Popov, it was very likely that Putin would come to the meeting personally, most likely the representation will be at the level of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin or Minister Sergei Lavrov. During the summit, a wave of information provocations from Russian propaganda should be expected. First of all, they will try to distort the reality from the statements made and try to raise a wave of criticism and dissatisfaction, as is the case against India.
