War as a marathon: Reznikov stated that after a while every Ukrainian in the family will be veterans

On August 22, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov stated during the International Veteran Forum "Ukraine. Defenders. Future". According to the head of the defense department, Ukraine has a very strong and treacherous enemy who kills children and women in cities and villages far from the front line. The war is essentially a real marathon and can last a long time, the minister says.

"We will still have painful losses, and in order to overcome the Russians and not translate it to the next generation, we need to realize that the main thing is to win," the minister said. According to him, last year it was necessary to find a weapon, now the main thing is that people in Ukraine will feel. "On what people feel depends on our advantage over the enemy for a long distance. It is unity and willingness to fight," - said Alexei Reznikov.

The head of the Ministry of Defense violated the topic of attitude in society to veterans. He emphasized that the fighters who have passed through the war were experiencing a special attitude towards themselves from other people, as if a certain mental border and distance were installed. "I think this border in the head and in the heart is the greatest danger, because it will touch everyone. Because after a while, each among relatives and loved ones will be veterans.

The main task is that every Ukrainian who sees the veteran is aware of: The first is a warrior who went through what I will pass tomorrow; second - they won time for me, "Reznikov said. According to him, as soon as this understanding will come, current problems will be solved much faster.
