"Nonsense": in OP compared Bild with propagandists of the Russian Federation through a statement of nuclear weapons

Dmitry Lytvyn, Advisor to the President of Ukraine, believes that it is difficult to distinguish now where the words of the German analyst Ryopke and where is Russian propaganda. On Thursday, October 17, the German edition of Bild published a material that claims that the Ukrainian authorities are considering the possibility of restoring nuclear weapons. The article was commented by the Presidential Advisor Dmitry Lytvyn. In a comment for Channel 24, he called this information "nonsense".

The author of the material, analyst Julian Ryopke, referred to an anonymous Ukrainian official, who stated that Ukraine has the necessary materials and knowledge to create nuclear weapons for several weeks. The article stated that Ukraine would prevent the re -invasion of Russian troops into Kiev, and in this case the Ukrainian nuclear arsenal could be restored.

The adviser to the President of Ukraine on communications Dmitry Lytvyn, commenting on these statements, noted that it is difficult to distinguish where the words of Ryopke and where Russian propaganda, since both sides "throw the same nonsense into the information space. " In turn, the head of the Center for Combating Misinformation under the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko stressed that "any fantasies of Western journalists about Ukrainian nuclear weapons are fictions.

" We will remind, on October 17 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Brussels told that he spoke about Ukraine's membership in NATO. According to him, Ukraine has two options for security guarantees - membership in the North Atlantic Alliance or receiving nuclear weapons. Kyiv chooses the first. Focus suggested that readers take part in online voting and choose the option that they think is correct.
