The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that at the beginning of the year, the Embassy of Switzerland in Kiev received information from the Ukrainian army that Swiss citizen probably died during the fighting. However, as it is noted, the circumstances of his death are unclear. It is also unknown in which area the Swiss was and in which unit he served. Journalists emphasize that the Ukrainian army does not provide any information about it.
