Trying to capture the heights: the Armed Forces told about the tactics

The situation in the temporal ravine of Donetsk region is under the control of defense forces, but it is still complicated, in the city fights continue. Nazar Voloshin, the speaker of Khortytsia, said this on the air of the telephone.

"Currently, the situation is controlled by defense forces, it is difficult, the fighting is ongoing. As for the Temporal Yar, the enemy does not leave the attempt to seize this city. It continues to destroy both the times of the ravine and the surrounding settlements," Voloshin explained.

He added that Russian invaders are trying to establish control of the heights on which the city is standing in order to continue to fight for the territory and from there strike in Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. According to Voloshin, it is easier for Russian troops to fire the time of the ravine and in general the Donetsk region because of the proximity of location to the border. The enemy uses different types of weapons, including aviation, which causes rocket launchers.

The spokesman believes that in a similar way Russia seeks to frighten civilians and sow panic. In recent weeks, Russian troops have intensified storms in the Bakhmut direction. According to the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky, the Russian command intends to seize the time of Yar by May 9 and thus win at least some victory on the front. At the same time, he added that in order to strengthen the defense of our troops, measures were taken in this direction to significantly strengthen the brigades of ammunition, drones, and RB.

Subsequently, the Armed Forces said that the fighting was already taking place on the outskirts of the time ravine, and about 700 civilians remain in the city itself. Recall that AR journalists published footage from the time ravine, which were removed by the drone. They show all the destruction caused to the city by Russian invaders: there were not actually no surviving building.
