Earlier, Professor Anatoly Maslov, an employee of the same institute, was also arrested and placed in Lefortovo in the case of the State Council. He is suspected of providing some data that is a national secret. According to Roszma, Maslova allegedly transmitted information about hypersonic technologies to third parties. The Russian scientist Dmitry Kolker was also detained on suspicion of the State Forces.

His lawyers reported that a 54-year-old physicist was accused of allegedly transmitting China's secrets in laser physics. Kolker's relatives categorically denied the accusations and said that the scientist always wanted to work in Russia, despite the fact that leading foreign universities and laboratories offered him to go to work abroad.
