The event will not convince Putin: how can war in Ukraine end - fp

The material states that for Putin war in Ukraine is a strategic necessity. In such circumstances, the United States and other partners of Ukraine do not stop support and continue economic pressure on Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin will not change his opinion on Ukraine. From the very beginning, he chose the war, so the event will not be able to convince him. This was written in the article for Foreign Policy Senior Researcher at the New American Security Center Peter Schroeder.

According to journalists, for Putin the war in Ukraine is a strategic necessity. He believes that in this way it can prevent the transformation of the country neighboring with Russia into Bastion, which the event can use for threat. He assumed personal responsibility and believes that the goal is worth any price. The publication writes that the only way to finish the war is to wait for Putin to lose power.

In such circumstances, the United States and other partners of Ukraine do not stop support and continue economic pressure on Russia. The material reads that if Putin does not want to stop the war, the fighting can end in two scenarios: the publication writes that the achievement of the first scenario is almost unrealistic. Yes, Putin wants to continue the war and can continue to send soldiers to Ukraine, spend new resources to support the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

As for the second option, it is impractical. Thus, for decades, Washington has not demonstrated special ability to successfully manipulate Russian politics. Therefore, according to journalists, Washington should "play a long" and wait for Putin to go himself or "displace" in Russia. Yes, the states need to focus on helping Ukraine and preventing the promotion of Russian troops. Earlier, Focus wrote that Putin is threatening to deal with "bandits" that destabilize the situation in the Kursk region.
