The film festival will last from October 20 to October 26 in October. Traditionally, a cinema award will be awarded within the event, which in 2022 will celebrate its first anniversary. Applications for the fifth film award will currently have started, it will last until August 30.

The consideration may be allowed ribbons that were not previously displayed on large screens, completed after January 1, 2021, were not publicly demonstrated or first shown in Ukraine between October 1, 2021 until September 30, 2022. The tapes that have been filed for it before. The National Film Critics Prize, which was founded in 2018, determines the achievements of Ukrainian cinema and film industry on the last year on behalf of the movie critic.
