On one of the reactors of the water occurred water leakage: the occupiers began to repair

According to the IAEA, to eliminate the effects of the accident had to reduce the pressure at the power plant to the atmospheric level. Director of Rafael Grosssey added that they monitor the situation. One of the reactors of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar found water leakage. This was reported by the IAEA press service. According to the CEO of Raphael Grossi, repair work of one of the six reactors began on the territory of the station.

It was a forced event after the leakage of water from the pulse line, which was connected to the first circuit of the unit. After this news, a group of IAEA experts, which is located at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, visited the station. According to preliminary estimates, repair work will be completed by the end of the week. To do this, I had to reduce the pressure in the first circuit to the atmospheric level.

"The agency will continue to carefully monitor this issue, although we do not see any immediate problems for nuclear safety. In general, we have determined that regular maintenance of equipment that is vital for providing sustainable nuclear safety is a difficult task for the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant during conflict, "Raphael Grosssey said. At the time of the material, the press service of "Energoatom" did not comment on the incident at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
