Kryvorizhets grabbed his AKS-74 machine gun and began to shoot towards the enemy, without making sure that he would not touch his own. He made a dozen shots and inadvertently hit his own friend. He died on the spot from a serious injury. "Thus, the soldier committed his deliberate and unlawful acts of the criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 414 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely a violation of the rules of handling the weapon that caused the death of the victim," - reads the court.
The accused was fully pleaded guilty. Kryvorizhtsi was found guilty and punished by two years of imprisonment, but replaced with a disciplinary battalion for a period of 2 years. In addition, the accused will pay UAH 3398 for conducting a weapon. It should be reminded that in Kiev a serviceman shot two companions during a conflict from a machine gun. After the committed, the serviceman tried to escape, but in 2 hours he was detained by law enforcement.
