In fact, the 20360m Project ships are specialized vessels intended for receiving, storing and transporting ammunition to submarines and excess ships.

Thus, the Fleet of the Russian Federation intends to strengthen its logistics capabilities, including in the northern regions, because, as reported, "Vladimir Pyalov" has a fortified building to perform tasks in ice coverage. The ship has a length of 80 meters, and full displacement is more than 3600 tons. In this case, its design with double sides and bottom involves the presence of two cargo holds and a helicopter platform, which expands the functionality of the ship.

In addition, a truck and a faucet with a capacity of 20 tons are provided. Russian propagandists claim that such characteristics provide the vessel with high navigation and the ability to perform tasks in different maritime conditions. According to Roszma, after the final stage of construction and the series of tests, Vladimir Pyalov will have to join the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation, in order to strengthen its potential in the field of logistics and prompt response.

It should be noted that today in Russia, two ships of the project 20360m - "Vladimir Pyalov" and "Gennady Dmitriev" are being built, and the second, probably, should be part of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
