The enemy clearly understands that it beats critical civilian infrastructure," the Ministry of Energy reported.

The Ministry's press service added that energy and rescuers are working to eliminate the effects of attack on the object of thermal generation. Any changes to electricity supply to the population will be reported additionally. It is worth noting that the press service of the Ministry of Energy promptly removed the first post about the impact on the object of thermal generation in the Kiev region and posted a new one in a few minutes.

What kind of energy object has been attacked is not specified in the department. The SES of Ukraine in turn told that after the shelling of Ukraine, on September 8, a fire was liquidated at an industrial enterprise in the Kiev region. According to rescuers, there were no dead and victims. In the Obukhov district, an explosive wave was damaged by a shopping center and a fitness club.

Local Telegram channels wrote about explosions near the Trypillian thermal power plant in the Obukhov district on the bank of the Kaniv Reservoir. Focus sources report that the attack began about midnight.
