The President held a meeting regarding the further sanctions work of Ukraine: the shadow fleet, the Russian military-industrial complex and deep strikes

The head of state noted that in the near future Ukraine will synchronize the 19th package of EU sanctions and US sanctions against the two largest Russian oil companies in its jurisdiction. In addition, it is important to expand sanctions against the shadow fleet. "According to all our data, about 610 shadow fleet tankers were sanctioned. We believe that there are approximately 1,500 plus different vessels that work for Russia, which means that they work for the war.

We believe that the key ones are 340, the core ones are 65. This is what we still need to sanction," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized. According to the President, Ukraine also expects to work together with the United States to reduce Russian energy exports as much as possible. The head of state noted the importance of the work of intelligence and the military in the direction of reducing the Russian production of drones and military products.

According to him, the Military Industry Committee of the Russian Federation plans to increase the production of FPV and other drones, air defense systems, artillery and mortars. At the same time, due to the imposed sanctions and the lack of components, Russia has no opportunity to increase the production of missiles. Ukraine is waiting for such sanctions pressure that will prevent the production of other means of destruction.

The Russian Oreshnik ballistic missile was also discussed at the meeting. Vasyl Malyuk reported that thanks to the joint operation of the SBU, SZR and GUR, it was possible to destroy one "Oreshnik" at the Kapustyn Yar training ground. The President emphasized that it is important to introduce sanctions against 25 companies that help the Russian Federation to produce this missile. The Minister of Foreign Affairs reported that the formation of the 20th package of EU sanctions has already begun.

Ukraine has submitted its proposals and continues to work on further evidence for a truly strong package. According to the estimates of international experts, the economic effect of the introduction of the 19th package of the European Union will amount to a minus of about 20 billion dollars, and together with US sanctions - minus 50 billion dollars. for Russia.

According to him, the work is carried out in three directions: limiting Russian companies' access to technology, reducing the Kremlin's income to finance the war, and personal sanctions against Vladimir Putin's entourage. Vasyl Malyuk reported that in September-October, 6 refineries, 2 oil terminals, 3 oil depots and 9 oil pumping stations were affected on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine added that because of this, a shortage of petroleum products was created on the domestic market of Russia in 57 regions. We see significant consideration of our proposals in partner sanctions. In addition, it is very promising to link kinetic sanctions with classic ones," the President's representative added.

Vladyslav Vlasyuk noted that after Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil facilities, the enemy is forced to look for appropriate materials and equipment for repairs, and sanctions constantly complicate this process.
