Analysts of the Institute for the Study of the War in a report, published on January 29, have told about how it may be related to the threat of strokes of Ukrainian drones. Analysts analyzed the article of the Russian edition "Kommersant", which stated that the Internet will turn off every night by January 30 in three regions - Leningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions. The local authorities officially reported the shutdown.
Official explanation of Russian officials - "for technical work for reconfiguration of the radio frequency spectrum". However, anonymous sources of the publication claim that this is done at the request of power agencies "for the completion of antitrone systems". At the same time, they ignore citizens' complaints about communication loss, the inability to make payments and the work of video surveillance.
In addition, similar shutdowns were reported in other regions, indicating journalists - in Voronezh, "Region of the Chernozem" (the name is not indicated). Meanwhile, in the region directly adjacent to Ukraine, for example, in the Kursk region, such measures are not held, the publication emphasized. The report provides three explanations why such restrictions occur.
The first explanation is the test of new remedies of radio -electronic wrestling (HRV), which are planned to be used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The second explanation is the effort to hide the movement of air defense complexes, which are transferred to the Leningrad region. The third explanation is the attempt to protect the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who at the end of January planned to visit St. Petersburg.
It should be noted that in January there were several UAV attacks on Russian facilities, with the devices had to overcome several hundred kilometers to the target. For example, on January 21, it was lit in Ust-Luz-there was a petroleum processing company in the port from the blow of drones (about 900 km away). At the same time, an industrial enterprise in the Tula region was lit: the plant is involved in the production of Air Defense Complexes "Assistant-C1" (distance to Ukraine-about 300 km).
In addition, on the night of January 25, Tuapse was exploding - there were burning containers with fuel at a distance of about 500 km from the borders of Ukraine. On January 29, drones occurred on the Oil Refinery "Slavneft-Janos" in the Yaroslavl region (distance to Ukraine-about 700 km). We remind you that on the night of January 30 in the Russian Federation was loud in the Bryansk region.
